We had a lovely warm summer and a huge rainfall in February so the grass is green, the lakes and dams overflowing and the farmers happy! Autumn has no crowds, warm days and fresh mornings so it is an ideal time to visit the Sapphire Coast. The water is still a pleasant swimming temperature - though we recommend a wetsuit for surfing or snorkelling. A pleasant sea breeze most afternoons keeps the air comfortable for golf, bushwalking, fishing, boating or beachcombing. If the sun is out our solar heated pool is a lovely 28 - 30 degrees and is enjoyed by all our guests. Kids (big and little!) will have a great day at Magic Mountain or Mandeni golf resort which are only a few kilometres away from Dolphin Cove.

There are also many indoor attractions such as the aquarium, galleries, museums, antique shops and restaurants which can be enjoyed all year on the Sapphire Coast.
